At Karen Bartels, we value clarity and fairness in handling return requests. This Return & Refund Policy explains the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted. By completing a purchase, customers confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set out below.
Eligibility for Returns
A return request may only be submitted once the order has been successfully delivered.
Customers must submit their return request within 15 days of delivery.
If the return is approved, the item must be shipped back within an additional 15 days.
All approved returns must be sent to the original fulfillment location, which is our supplier facility in China.
All return-related expenses, including international shipping fees, customs charges, duties, and taxes, are fully the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.
Returned products must meet the following requirements:

Items must be unused, unwashed, and undamaged

Products must remain in original condition

All original tags must still be attached

Trying items on for sizing purposes is allowed; extended wear is not permitted

Orders placed with the intention of returning multiple sizes are not allowed
By placing an order, customers expressly acknowledge and accept that returns are shipped internationally to China and that all associated costs are borne by the customer.
Final Sale Items
Items purchased during Final Sale promotions, defined as products discounted by 40% or more, are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
Final Sale status is clearly indicated before purchase.
Products marked as Final Sale are excluded from returns, refunds, exchanges, and payment disputes under all circumstances.
Restocking Fee
A $20 restocking fee applies to each approved returned item.
This fee covers quality inspection, processing, and restocking costs.
By placing an order, customers agree to the deduction of this restocking fee from any applicable refund.
Return Guarantee for Eligible Items
Karen Bartels provides a return guarantee for unused items that fully comply with all conditions outlined in this policy.
Return Shipping Costs
All return shipping expenses are the responsibility of the customer.
Karen Bartels does not reimburse shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, or any related return expenses.

Total Return Period
Customers have 15 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return request.
Once approved, the return shipment must be sent within an additional 15 days.
The maximum return period is therefore 30 days from the delivery date.
Return requests made outside this timeframe, or items shipped after the permitted period, will not be accepted and will not qualify for refunds or disputes.
Defective Product Guarantee
If an item is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect, Karen Bartels provides a full guarantee.
Verified defective products may qualify for a replacement or refund, depending on the customer’s preference and availability.
Return Procedure

Submit a return request by emailing support@karenbartels.com within 15 days of receiving your order.

After approval, you will receive the return address of our supplier facility in China.

Ship the item at your own expense, including all international shipping and customs-related costs.

Use a trackable shipping method.
Returns without valid tracking confirmation showing delivery to our designated facility cannot be processed and will not qualify for a refund.
Refund Processing
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, refunds will be issued within 15 days.
Refunds are processed using the original payment method.
Any applicable deductions, including the $20 restocking fee, will be applied before the refund is issued.
Liability Disclaimer
Karen Bartels is not responsible for lost or missing return shipments if tracking confirms delivery to the provided return address.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout.
Address errors must be reported within 24 hours of placing the order.
